Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is a United States National Park spanning eastern portions of Tuolumne, Mariposa and Madera counties in the central eastern portion of the U.S. state of California. The park, which is managed by the National Park Service, covers an area of 747,956 acres and reaches across the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. About 4 million people visit Yosemite each year: most spend the majority of their time in the seven square miles of Yosemite Valley. Designated a World Heritage Site in 1984, Yosemite is internationally recognized for its granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, giant sequoia groves, lakes, mountains, glaciers, and biological diversity.

STAY: There are lots of places to stay in and around Yosemite National Park. It is better to stay inside the park so that you can go and enjoy the park without much pressure. We stayed in Half Dome Village (formerly known as Curry Village).

Yosemite Falls is the highest waterfall in Yosemite National Park, dropping a total of 2,425 feet (739 m) from the top of the upper fall to the base of the lower fall. Located in the Sierra Nevada of California, it is a major attraction in the park, especially in late spring when the water flow is at its peak.Yosemite Valley:

There are lots of things to do in Yosemite valley starting from Hiking, Fishing, Camping, Cycling etc.

Almost everyone would get a chance to stop here. Self driving routes take you through here, tour companies stop here, The Valley floor tours stop you here.Vernal Falls – A moderate hike (1.5 mile from Half Dome Village)Nevada Falls – A moderate hike (3 miles from Half Dome Village or 1.5 miles from top of Vernal Fall)
