Big Bear
Big Bear Lake is a small city in San Bernardino County, California, located in the San Bernardino Mountains along the south shore of Big Bear Lake, and surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest. The city is located about 25 miles (40 km) northeast of the city of San Bernardino, and immediately west of the unincorporated town of Big Bear City.
This vacation place has it all no matter the season, there is always something to do. Hiking, biking, after sports, fishing, skiing or just hanging out and relaxing.

During summer months, this is one of the best places in California for camping. There are 100+ campsites in Big bear. These campsites will be difficult to get during the peak of the summer months. You have to book in advance or keep an eye on the ‘reserveamerica’ website to see if some one is canceling their reservation. Best for kids and family.
