Blue Ridge Mountain – North Carolina
We (BE from SREC – 1997-2001) had a get together in Blue ridge mountain, North Carolina on April 18-19, 2015. We booked the cabin for 8 persons. This cabin was extraordinary. It is situated right on the river so you can fish, swim, or just look out over the beautiful view over coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. The Jacuzzi was perfect (and well maintained) and it was great to sit in it. The inside of the cabin is beautifully decorated with modern furnishings and the place was immaculately clean. It cost a little more than we were looking to pay, but we are glad we did. It was worth every penny. Can’t wait to go back!

The cabin was in the middle of thick forest.
It has lots of amenities and all the furniture inside the cabin were fantastically decorated.

We had a great weekend, met some of my friends after almost a decade. We cooked, we played, we hiked and had a lot of fun. Special credit goes to Sai, he was our cook… Parotta, Chicken, Omelette etc..

We went for a small hike close to our cabin and it was a fantastic one. Glen Burney Trail – Be prepared for beautiful views, gorgeous water falls, quiet spots and one heck of a hike on this trail.
This trip was memorable for me. The booked flight was cancelled at the last minute due to technical issue and I had to wait for almost 4 hours on the airport. My friends at Georgia airport waiting for me as we had to travel to North Carolina on that night itself. Thanks guys.
The return trip was more thrilling than the arrival trip. I had a flight at 5’0 in the evening and we started from the cabin at 11’o clock. Due to heavy rain and traffic, I thought I was going to miss the flight. But my friend Siva had other plan. I made it to the airport just 1 minute before closing the gate. Thanks to Siva for the wonderful and fast drive (Antha vanatha pola manam padacha nallavare..)
